|Grape Variety||Blaufrankisch, Zweigelt, St. Laurent|
Dark ruby-garnet with violet highlights. Lively aromas of cherry, clove, cinnamon and orange zest. At once stylish and firmly built, with approachable, uncomplicated red berry flavors. Like the basic Zweigelt, this is very easy to drink.
According to Robert Parker, Heinrich produces "...some of Austria's most celebrated red wines." Produced by hand, from low yielding vineyards in Austria's warmer south, these are expressive and interesting red wines. In 2001 Heinrich was named "Winemaker of the Year" by Austria´s leading wine magazine, Falstaff.
