According to Robert Parker, Heinrich produces "...some of Austria's most celebrated red wines." Produced by hand, from low yielding vineyards in Austria's warmer south, these are expressive, interesting red wines. It is also awarded as "Winemaker of the Year" in 2001 in the most famous Austrian wineguide Falstaff.
